had our final chinese chess lesson today..FINALLY!! today the teacher quite nice lah..never insist we listen to the lesson..so shi yin continued drawing her warcraft character (some weird troll) while denise continued making friendship bands and i helped her untangle the big ball of red string. mrs ortega didn't really care so everyone was happy. then later cai lao shi come in and scold us..ask us to stop.so we reluctantly put the stuff under the desk. she went out of the class so we continued. came back again and gave us her icy cold stare. she today pms i think..started scolding us after the chess lesson. say we should be embarassed that she had to scold us in front of the chess instructor. then say " you tong xue bu zhi dao zai feng shen me dong xi" then give 3 of us a glare. once she finish her scolding session, 3 of us were like, " did we look like we were sewing?!" seriously, someone should ask cai lao shi to chill. i mean, we'll be leaving in a few weeks so just let us have some fun lah!
my 3rd sis says i should add pictures but i am not very sure how..and also, anyone know how i can add links? i'm really blur, i know..please help. if you are observant, you would have noticed that i have changed blogskin. thanks to audrey, seriously..thanks a whole lot! thanks to joel and maxine for trying to help. getting a tagbox and new skin took so long..almost an hour. hopefully, the next time, i'll be able to do it on my own and not take forever. i think audrey got a bit pissed at me cause i kept asking her the same questions but she was patient with me most of the time.. hope you all like the new one, i know it's a bit pink but i like it so hopefully you all do too. remember to tag!!

i just had one of the weirdest phone calls ever. maxine was trying to help me find a new blogskin and create a tagbox and since she does not have a blog, she asked her friend, joel (a.k.a mr j-style) to help. he sounds like a pretty decent and nice guy, has a weird singing brother though. so joel is trying to help me create a tag box and choose blogskin but maxine says he has bad taste in blogskins so he will choose, then show to maxine, then show to me. real confusing, i know. the call was 3 way and really noisy. you could hear tiara(maxine's sis) shouting in the background, maxine singing some weird song and joel typing on the keyboard while trying to get his brother to shut up. i think i was the only sane one (no offence to joel since he wasn't making much noise and helping me)because the computer room was totally empty and quiet.yes, i have noticed that i post more than once a day. i guess this whole thing is new to me so i get all excited about it..it'll probably wear off after a while.

had chinese chess lessons today..boring as usual. i wasn't even listening, i was making friendship bands under my table until the guy look in my direction then i pretend to be listening, nodding my head and looking like i'm thinking..haha. we went to the ny kindergarten after recess. was supposed to get to interact with the cute little babies (fyi, i am a HUGE baby-lover) but in the end, we just ended up cutting out pictures for their com lab.it's so cute, the chairs so minature. we all felt like giants, which is a relatively new feeling to me..haha. the girls said that shi yin actually looked like a kindergartener and we all started laughing. it wasn't so bad, i mean we had loads of fun, even though the dumb boys keep saying that we're slow (they have more ppl than us) when we finish one whole board and a wall of cut-out pictures and they only finnish one wall and spend the rest of the time talking rubbish and stoning. shi yin was getting free hand wax today cause she was in charge of tearing double side tape. me and denise purposely pulled it off as if we were waxing her..the tape was really sticky. shi yin and i also decide to use the whiteboard's wheels to hit denise's butt but she was totally immune to it. we tried like 4 times before she realised something was going on cause the girls started laughing. my mum is at some nurses retreat thing at church today and tomorrow so my 2nd sis fetched me home today. at first, she thought she was going to be allowed to drive my mum's nissan to fetch me because she had gotten her license already but my mum decided to use that car and so me and my 2nd sis had to take bus home. we ate at mcdonalds for lunch and jinyin, bernice, jieru and zhiwen were there. i had a mcchicken even though the church choir mistress said we were not supposed to eat too much fried food. i think if i stop eating fried food, i'll die!! haha..anw, there's SYTYCD tonight, my new fave show. i hope benji and donyelle do well cause they totally rocked last week!! they are so awesome! my big sis says singapore is horrible for only showing the result show 1 week after the dance show just to earn more money from advertising..i totally agree. i mean the show is only gonna finish after like 6 months. anw, can anyone tell me where to get nice blogskins? maxine's helping me find but i wouldn't mind more variety.. i know i said i would only tell ppl about my blog once it is presentable but i cant help it. so please help me find new blogskins, people...

today, i went to church and unlike audrey, i actually do enjoy going to church. (no offence, audrey) anw, today we did a prayer walk around teban gardens, a few blocks of flats which are poorer that my church adopted..for those who dont know what a prayer walk is, it's when you walk around the flats, praying for the residents inside as you go, except we did it differently. we walked to different stations which were supposed to be places in the Bible and prayed at each station..it was ok..hopefully we managed to bless some of the residents there. the funny part was when me and grace(church friend) made heidi(another church friend) carry all our bags because we were supposed to have camels, like they did in the Bible and heidi called herself a donkey so me and grace changed it to pack mule and made her carry our bags. it was really funny.we had our first church choir practice today..at first it was pretty boring and hilary (church best friend) found that we were pretty much the only kids in the choir so we were quite scared. btw, our church choir is putting up a performance for christmas, my favourite occasion ever. so we started practicing and our instructor was this pretty fierce old lady not from our church..she didn't allow us to talk and for a moment there, i felt like i was in school. but she wasnt so bad after a while, we kinda got used to her. she's quite a good teacher.. anw, me and hilary fooled around and my mum had to keep turning around to scold us. i love singing christmas songs, it gets me into the spirit of christmas..did i mention that it's my favourite occasion of the year? i told that to hilary and she said, "no.. i only get into the mood when it's a white christmas..", something like that, i think. hilary has actually experienced one before because she's been in china studying at international school since she was 8. at first, i had a bit of a hard time getting used to the new her but i think i'll manage. we were having quite a bit of fun at choir practice.

hey, me again..i'm thinking of changing blogskin (why's it called blogskin anw?) maxine (best friend) said this one is boring and she's helping me hunt for one. i like the colour of this one though..it matches the blog add, in case you didn't notice..i guess practically no one is reading this but i'll just write anw. i'll tell everyone i have a blog once it's presentable enough..i'm bored. there isn't much to watch on tv and my com is reeeeeeally laggy today..it loads everything so slowly..there's this site that i like to go to: www.fanfiction.net it's really cool..people write stories about tv shows and books and movies. they write what they think might happen or what they want to happen. some are rubbish but some are pretty good..and it's nice because everyday there are new stories, unlike most sites where you have to wait ages for new stuff. my favourite are the HSM stories..they're addictive! but my com thinks differently because it loads every other site at normal speed but fanfiction at extra slow speed. sigh...

hey everyone, diane here.. i know what you all are thinking (at least i hope): this girl finally got a blog..it's about time! anw, i'm just trying this whole blogging thing out so you better read this while you can because if i don't enjoy blogging, don't be surprised when one day it all disappears.. mwahaha... i sound kinda psycho, huh?so, today i had my grade 4 theory exam..had to miss ballet for it. i think it went ok and hopefully i can get a distinction.. after that, my mum brought my sis and i to my baby niece's (ariel) house. she was reeeally grumpy today.. crying non-stop. kept clinging to my cousin-in-law (her dad, robin) and the maid..wouldn't let any of us carry her. when robin went to get something, she started howling, literally. she was probably tired.. not enough sleep, i guess. robin made bak kut teh for us..it was really nice, my mum told him he could go open a shop..but then again, she says that almost everytime he cooks for us. i can't blame her..i mean, how often do you come across a guy who cooks and enjoys it? not very often, in my case.. my dad is more of the loves-to-eat than loves-to-cook. i guess i inherited it from him..hehe. robin cooks even more often then my cousin. he says, "on saturdays, if i'm not playing golf, i'm cooking." i might post again tonight, so look out for it!!
