[this post was half-done yesterday. and blogger ate the rest up. thankssssssssssss. so i shall just briefly complete this post and move on to today!:D]

would have blogged earlier. but for some reason, i fell asleep. thankssss yihhui. hahah(:

had stupid talks today. haha we just played hangman throughout. then we watched miracle worker. i slept through half of it(:

then we had gb! but before that, me yihhui and shiren were early so we wentto the j3 classroom where shihui was clearing tables. so we helped!

WOO SHIREN IS SO...AMUSING [amusing isnt degrading(:] she carried the table and walked right into the wall.CHAO FUNNY. all the eraser dust fell on her face and knocked her glasses. HAHA.

then we had auditions for cantatata:D well we were all forced to. shihui threatened to come find me in the toilet when i told her i wanted to go and hide. hahaha. scaryyyy.

me and shiren auditioned together. and our auditions turned out quite fun! cos only like peiling elissa and shihui were there. haha and they were nice abt it(: except the part they made us sing.

we slacked for the rest and watched yihhui audition through the window. yihhui's hidden talent has been discovered! her super realistic acting:D so cool!

but they made her sing too. and she was all sad. and whiny. hahaha. awwww cheer up! haha and stop freaking out(:




netball carn today! it was pretty fun, though we didnt win anything hehh. i guess we're not that great at sports. but ohwell, it was still fun!

i was cheering like mad for 113! haha i kinda half lost my voice. but not totally, so yayy(: i was chao high lah, jumping around like mad:D

i got all depressed though, when jaime told me that waddle cheerleading was only taking in 4 ppl. i was like !!!!! all the gymnasts and dancers, how to compare! so i was all sulky and almost near to tears sometime before the teacher-netball team game. hahah thanks yihhui(:

the game was entertaining though, and i cheered up after awhile. figured that there was no point in me going if i was sad, so i got high by cheering!:D

wooo sherry [ALICE] and yirong were so pro! hahaha and jodie too! whoa her shots were like :DD netballers are coool(:

went to the gb room to slack for a longlong time after eating and changing cos tryouts only started at 230 and we ended at around 11.

they [not me!] bullied waiian by taking pics of her. by they i mean yihhui esthermarie and nicole! haha kezia and me didnt really(: hahaha i think i'm one of the nicer juniors. bullying seniors is just plain mean. i dont even [seriously] bully batchmates(:

hahahaha i think waiian got abit pissed. and after awhile they all left and it was just me and kezia. i decided to read my bible, the part abt tongues and gifts and stuff. then her friends came in and they started talking abt it.which was pretty cool(:

then i left to go find jaime rachel nadia and sarah who were in class doing warm up! hahaha weird ones. rachel was telling me to go

"i am a graceful leaf...HOOHAHA!"

suuuper cute! and then i was practicing my half-cartwheels and they were like FORCING ME TO SPLIT. torture i tell you. wahhh i wailed like mad mannn.



then tryouts! we learnt a cheer. i learnt with naddie and rachel. and we all did it together! it was FUN(: but really tiring.

then we learnt the dance! OHMY it was HARD okayyy. all the sparratic movements, super jerky lah. and some parts of my body just do NOT move like that hahahaha. this nice dance senior, jiawen, and nadia had to come and help me shake my shoulders and ahem, other parts.

i think i kinda..didnt do too well for the dance part. ohwells.

if it's part of His plan in some way, i hope i get into cheerleading. if i dont get in, sure i'll be sad. but i must keep in mind that His good and perfect plan is above all my shallow desires. He knows best(:

met nana and jess for breakfast at the prataaaaa shop this morning!:D


basically we just shared our experience from last sunday lah [rustyrussell]. and it was good to hear abt it, and clarify some doubts. we asked lots of questions and i learnt alot.


not saying that i'll just take and accept their answers, i really pray God stirs up that passion and that urge to go and seek the answers for myself.


but yeah it was a good "experience" hahaha it was more like an informal outing lah. somehow we talked abt stupid topics like TCM's voice and armpit hair [THANKSSSS MAXINE!] but yeah it was fun!:D


let's quote smth that maxine told me:

haha super cute. but yes, quite true. i'm still unsure, though not as much as before. i think i want to go for it, but really i need to pray abt it. see what God wants...





went back kinda late for my k2 class, kids still as cute as ever. and today's lesson [though simplified for k2s] really kinda spoke to me. like applicable to my situation.




we learnt abt our Lord Jesus' victory over sin, when He died on the cross for us. and that He is the most powerful, more powerful than satan. then this little girl kelly suddenly looked sad, and she told me: "i always thought satan was more powerful than God..." she was so cute lahhh(:


but the lesson was good cos aunty chowming gave the example of satan putting doubt in your head. and this made me remember the point abt Lord Jesus being the MOST POWERFUL, obviously more powerful than all that doubt in my heart. and all i need to overcome it is Him(:




and these are the moments that i dont regret coming to help out in the class, despite all the whinyness and attention-seeking. i love it when God speaks to me through these simple lessons





missed alot of worship cos i had to wait for maxine's class to finish and then we had message. i was kinda sleepy so i didnt concentrate as well as i would've liked. haha almost fell asleep mann. thanksssss maxine for taking my jacket!



but yeah the message was good! praying shouldnt be abt wanting stuff from God, or wanting Him to hear your requests. it should be a relationship!

like not just a one way thing, or an occasional thing, but an everyday thing! seriously, that's what i reallyyyy need right now. like i learnt in my k2 class, to grow closer to God, we need to read our Bible and pray everyday! :D

we didnt get in for drama night. which was really quite sad. though kinda predicted. ohwell! we did our best [cliche but TRUE!] and personally, i had TONS of fun! hahaha like telling jaime she looked like a _ _ _ _ _ _ and dressing the cast up! with the really funny bloopers and our OH SO WONDERFUL MAKE UP! GO NADIA!:D

113 is like such a wonderfulwonderful class! inclusive of all the bimbos and nerds HAHAHA(:

yeah it was really veryvery fun(: especially when we were doing makeup. WE TOTALLY ROCKKK(: but lemme tell you that you shld never EVER attempt to do makeup for chengjing.

i almost died lah! she was like squirming and wailing and running away and laughing. and i couldnt do it properly! but her makeup looked the best, if you ask me(: hahaha she's superduper cute!

cant wait to watch the other classes' skits! wooooo i think drama night will be COOL, especially since we dont need to worry and stuff(:




had our long awaited WCP [no, not UCP] outing today! met maxine before that for lunch and went to vivo. hahahahahahahaha it was suuuuuuper funny, with her trying to sing "how much is that doggy in the winDOW!" wahhhh she's tonedeaf lah! and how she was worrying abt r! coming to talk to her. HAHAHAAHA they are really suuuuper entertaining! :D

maxine bought a bday present for lynette from DIVA! GRACE I KNOW YOU LOVE THAT PLACE. HAHAHAHA. there was a trannie there! who was really nice. but it kinda freaks me out abit. hahahaha grace TRANNIE CENTRAL! :O

and we went to build-a-bear for a while! HAHA i have this stupid picture of maxine highfiving the bear mascot!SUPER RETARDED!





then we went to church and we were early! so we waited a while with kelly megan and her friend alana [i think] and then me and maxine went in joshua's car to WCP :D

only like a few bb guys went, those regular ones lah(: who are fun! though i only played like 1 game with them hahaha. and spiky hair jeremy came! superduper cute and tiny high voiced jeremy! I DONT CARE ME AND MAXINE DISCOVERED HIM FIRST TIANYI!

hahah everyone totally took jeremy as a possesion, super funny. tianyi was super gay cannn! like hugging him going "future acsian rugger!" EEEYER.

hahaha but he is really super cute! [jeremy, not tianyi(:] cant believe he like guilted me into giving him the ball during captain's ball! lame lah, i block him that time, his team all say "cannot bully small boy!" wahhh cant stand it manzxzxzxzxz

first we played ultimate frisbee, which was quite boring cos most of us couldnt bother running. hahah. then we played captain's ball! i was with juliana and janahan and stuff. me and maxine were the captains. and maxine screamed like every time the ball came to her!

then they split us into teams based on the colour of our shirts! i was in white, so i was in benhooi's team! and we played against the blacks, which was grace abd behlary! benhooi is super HILARIOUS okay!

cos joshua was like, "remember! this is not about having fun, it's about winning!" and benhooi told us, "he's wrong! it's about having fun, not winning. that's why they will let us win(:" HAHA.

and then throughout the game he was going, "ohno the blacks are attacking!" and "the black plague is here!" and "it seems that they have seen through my plan!" and "it will be like night and day(: GOOD AND EVIL HAVE NO ASSOCIATION!" HAHAHAHAHA.

then we played another game, and this time me and maxine were in the same group! surprisingly maxine didnt make TOO big a fool of herself. hahahaha we were actually active and kinda useful in this game!

we played with benedict, martin benhooi, tianyi they all . whoa megan's friend is SO rough lah! like she pushed the ball from my hands and it hit my face. LIKE OUCH MAXINE! it was really fun lah, though i was totally WIPED OUT after that.

but yeah, in general my day at WCP was GREAT! so much fun:D despite the worries [PICTURE!], slight awkwardness [bb boys D:] and GAYNESS [EMOTIONAL SCARRING!] yeah the planning comm did a terrific job, but i think the company made it even better(:

then we went back to church cos there was extra food and me grace and maxine ate ALOT. hahaha. after quite long, talking abt AHEM alot of stuff, nana and euclid went with us to the train station and euclid took the train with us. hhahaha i think he thought it was safer(:

maxine lah! scared to walk back by herself. but yeah, i was super xian at the thought of spending half an hour on the train, so kindkind maxine lent me her ipod! and i know this sounds abit...bizarre, but i think i actually got kinda ministered to on the walk back home!

i was listening to all the christian songs on her ipod, and i was singing lah, just worshipping for awhile. then i started praying, abt all this unsureness of the spirit stuff lah.

i think if i just try to use my own brainpower or whatnot to try and figure it out, it's not gonna work lah. euclid talked to me ystd and he brought up this point that i had in my head for such a long time. i just needed to hear it from someone else. i thank God that He sent euclid to come tell me that.

i cant just base facts and principles on what euclid tells me, or what nana tells me, or what mummy tells me. i think i just have to pray for that personal touch from God. to read it in the Bible, and discover it from God myself.

i'm still working on it lah. praying for the doubts fear and insecurities to be gone.

vel fell asleep till 10 ystd so i didnt get a chance to blog!
so let's start with ystd: SHIRIM DAY!

and it was also our class dc day but WHATEVERRRR! hahah ohyes i signed up for WADDLE CHEERLEADING! i so hope i dont regret this...

anw! we had shirimmmmmmmmmmm:D mdm kour [HA!] didnt come so peiling shihui and elissa took us! hahah the 3 of them were super cute with their personality tests and "personal attention" HAHAH.

we went to the quadrangle and they tahght us scotland the brave! hahah kinda emberassing cos we had to stand up and play in front of the redcross ppl who were doing situps and going "WE WILL PROTECT THE SCHOOL FROM HORNET ATTACKS!" haha quite funny, no offence to redcross(:

and we have our buddies! we were informed of them ystd(:

hahaha and yay we learnt half of scotland the brave!
but i cant rmb what it sounds like haahaha. then we went back and mr wallace thought we had been slacking! D:

then peiling shihui and elissa got out their pipes. yihhui rachel and waiian got out their snare drums while me joongyan and deborah just stood there with our chanters.hahahahahahaha.

we played whatever we could with our chanters and just watched for the rest of the time. then mr wallace had to leave, but he told us to get our pipes. TIME OF DOOM. i was whining like mad. hahahahahah. yes i can get really whiny when i want to [ask yihhui :D]

I CANT PLAY A PIPE! I'M A FAILURE! CRYCRYCRY ):

we took them out, but obviously i couldnt make a sound with it D: elissa lent her easier pipe to joongyan and shihui lent hers to me too! but only after i tried my super difficult pipe for reeeally long. so by the time i got shihui's pipe, i was like WHOOOSH exhausted/exasperated.

and i blew into shihui's pipe. BUT IT STILL DIDNT WORK DDDD: so they let me play elissa's pipe! which was apparently easier. BUT IT STILL DIDNT WORK DDDD:

joongyan managed to make a LONG ENOUGH SOUND! and obviously deborah and her power lungs could like PLAY A SONG alrd. and so i was left all alone, with a soundless pipe. FAILURE PLSSSSSSSSSS!

and i was all lightheaded from trying so many times. hahaha shihui and elissa were like: "go and sit down sit down! go and drink water!" and joongyan was like "dont faint ah!"

hahahahah. after getting over the dizzyness, i was all whiny. like suuuuper whiny lah! cos i was really frustrated and feeling loser-ish): hahahah elissa and shihui started going:

attention!"

and the LITTLE DRUMMER GIRL AND LITTLE PIPER BOY was suuuuuper funny plsss! hahahahahahaha:D






yup, had acp fair today! was super hectic looor! so hard to get ppl to come to our stall D: i stayed at the stall for really long before going to buy safety pins. haha to attach to our pincushion things. when i was abt to leave i saw elissa peiling and shihui! and i was shrieking like:

me: shiren!shiren! did you see them!

shiren: yeah yeah i saw them! bong did you see them!

bong: yeah i saw them!

me: go and sell to them quick! go go go!

hahah and this was right in the middle of the canteen and it was really high pitched and LOUD!(: got turned down by so many ppl): but my enthuness was influential to some i guess? hahaha managed to make miss tan and miss koh and miss chionh and some random teacher to buy(:

i was pretty high until stupid yihhui was all stony and pissed. so i got stony and pissed and couldnt be bothered to help anymore. so i went back to class to slack.

discussed some stuff with janne and jaime! haahahah and i read my max lucado book(: woooo i shared it with janne(: hope it made a difference in some way! :D

came home and talked to r! and maxine(:
HAHAHAAHHA IT WAS SUPER FUNNY PLSSS. i have found my new source of entertainment :D

maxine's post is inspiring right?(:

my experience wasnt that picture perfect. not saying that God is like, un-powerful! cos He's really awesome yeah! but i'll tell you, ystd was really not like what i expected it to be and it was SUCH a mix of emotions.

all the craziest emotions you wouldnt imagine putting together. but they were all there ystd, in the presence of God. and rusty.

doubting, unsureness, confusion, remorse, regret, repentance [i know this isnt an emotion. but it was there(:], joy, anger, jealousy, more remorse and more confusion.

i was like WHOA. what is happening?

and if you ask me now, i still cant give you a very sure answer. i'm still in a blur. but i want to get out of it. and i will, with His help(:

His presence was really evident ystd. though i didnt sense it at first. i think it's cos i was distracted by all that doubt and fear in my heart. cos of all the preconceived ideas i had before the meeting.

throughout the message i continued questioning. in my head. it was just hard to change the idea i had overnight you know?

at the end we prayed. all of us. and rusty asked who wanted prayer to raise our hands. i felt this urge to raise mine. and i saw maxine raise hers too. rusty came to pray for both of us together. and i couldnt stop shaking.

like my legs were just shivering. and i couldnt stop them from shaking. i dont know whether it was because i was cold or what. haha. but i doubt that was it.

during this time when rusty went round praying for everyone, tears just came from my eyes. like nonstop tears. jessica came to pray for me, in english and tongues. and i'm reallyreally grateful for that(: that prayer really helped alot:D

then rusty gave a prophesy. and so did euclid. and aunty cat gave this image that she saw in her head. and during this period, the line that came to my head was

LORD do what You want with me.

now that i think abt it, it was really quite accurate. if He thinks that i'm ready for the gifts then He'll give it to me. if He thinks i'm not ready, He wont. simple as that. and i think that this line really helped me through ystd alot.

i didnt receive gifts of the Spirit last night, but that doesnt make it a wasted experience!(: i have asked and seeked for those gifts. and i believe that when my Lord thinks i am ready and matured enough to use them, He will give them to me(:

we stood up to leave. wah i was really unsteady. like my legs were still kinda shaking. and my eyes hurt from crying. i thought i was gonna like fall down cos i felt kinda shaky.

then when we were abt to leave, rusty started doing ministering. maxine wanted to go. but she was scared. and when she started to cry, jessica and i hugged her and for some reason i started to cry too.

rusty prayed with her and like she mentioned, she was slain. and i felt really happy for her cos she told me she felt really peaceful after that(:

i went down too. and he prayed for me. wow the Lord's words through rusty were just BAM so powerful! just these 4 simple words made me start sobbing uncontrollably:

Child, I LOVE YOU.

then before i knew it, i was on the ground. but before i had a chance to let the Holy Spirit kinda minister to me, rusty got me up again cos my mum told him abt my scoliosis. and he prayed for me(:

it was a good experience. actually, i think the word GOOD doesnt justify it. a more accurate word is AWESOME. cos His presence was there(:

in the car me and mummy talked alot. and i really told her ALOT more than i have ever. when she went to the petrol station to pay and go to the toilet, i took the opportunity in the car alone to just pray. that prayer was just SO helpful. all the previous mix of emotions transcended to PEACE. GOD'S PEACE(:

For you did not receive a spirit that makes you a slave again to fear, but
you receive the Spirit of sonship. And by him we cry, "Abba, Father."

Romans 8:15

thank you Lord for making me Your child, and for giving me your Spirit that lives within me to teach and guide me. i pray that You fill me with the Spirit and give me a passion for You, Lord. help me to desire the giver more than the gifts Lord, for You are the Most High God. thank You Lord for such an amazing experience and for this encounter with You. i pray that i never leave You again. Amen.

God was there, and honestly there's nothing better!

after rusty baptized me in the Holy Spirit, i felt like there was something kinda holding me back, but after he led me in a prayer of forgiveness,
i was slain, & i felt WHOA super happy & peaceful
and i know it's definitely from God! (:

HAHA i just got off the phone with Uncle E! :D

okay ANYWAY, to know that what God honours is
His promise and your faith, is just really assuring (:

i'm not good at studying, neither am i good at praying.
but the LORD looks at the heart.
and i'm really happy 'cos God can use anyone, as long as they're willing!

"If you then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts
to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give the Holy Spirit
to those who ask him!"

AMEN TO THAT!

yesterday was an... EVENTFUL day(: hahah TYVM MAXINE.



me and hilary decided to go to mgs to surprise maxine! you know, as a belated birthday thing since we didnt go on the actual day. yes, i know we're such SWEET and THOUGHTFUL friends, right maxine?(:



WHOA. who knew it would rain ystd. and i happen to NEVER bring an umbrella. so as a result, i got soaking wet. plus! i asked yirong abt the equitorial busstop. and we just so happened to be talking abt different busstops! and so i had to WALK IN THE RAIN to the right busstop. MORE soaking wet(:



finally finally met behlary there. but we were SO behind schedule. so we just had to let maxine in on the surprise, no choice): and it turns out! that she didnt read our smses asking her to stay in sch. and she alrd left by the time we reached!



so aunty jan came to fetch us [lemme remind you that we were both wet and cold] and we took a car ride [thankssssssss] before coming back to mgs. because maxine wanted to "show us off" to her friends! hahah. who were all really cute, espcially LYNETTE!:D

and then we decided to go to the acsi EXODUS concert/worship thing that night!



wheee so we went back to holland v, via MERCEDES CAB(: with a very friendly uncle laughing at our convo. cos maxine was asking him "is the horfun nice?" then he said yes. and maxine said "does it taste like...horfun?" and i replied "no it tastes like charkwayteow" HAHAH.



so we ate then went back to maxine's house. bathed and went through maxine's wardrobe. hahahah. and then we went to lynette's house to eat dinner!



lynette's mum btw, has this HORRIBLE impression of maxine. and maxine couldnt use chopsticks! still GEHKIANG try to use. in the end lynette's mum had to give her fork and spoon HAHAH. and since last time lynette's mum said maxine ate like a dog, maxine decided to eat veryveryVERY slowly ystd. sighhhh.



then we went to exodus! which was really fun! though not at first(: and i saw ______ and _____. hahahah was quite amusing actually(: too bad we didnt see benhooi or smth): at first it was abit...LOUD. and the songs they sang were abit... i dont know lah. but it didnt seem right to worship with those type of songs. even though the lead singer was very funny(:



then there was this truthmin band. who were like older adults. and they sang welcome to my life and bad day. i thought it was just kinda inappropriate. but after that they sang better songs. more decent i guess. and they showed the lifehouse skit video which i LOVE so much(: hahah hilary was super touched!

then sonic edge came on! who were the best, if you ask me. but ohmyyy the music was chao LOUD. and we were in the 2nd row, thanks to me(: but it was really good lah, worshipping God. like just giving everything to Him. surrender it all man(:

and that night, i decided to make a change in my life. hahah sounds very dramatic and all. but! i think the most major change i need to make, i think i said this before, is LOVE.

i always thought, oh must love them so they know i'm christian and they might want to be christians.

but last night, i realised that it's only half correct. because i forgot the most impt part! which is to love them USING CHRIST'S LOVE. i mean, obviously with this heart of mine, it's quite impossible to love certain people right!

so i have to love them LIKE CHRIST FIRST LOVED US. God probably found me annoying too! hahah but He still loved me nonetheless. and so, the love we show should be CHRIST'S. i think it sounds kinda weird, but when you think abt it, it makes sense(:

yeah the worship was really good. i actually cried, which was unexpected at the beginning hehh(: and people were kneeling. which was good too!:D

oh and i forgot to mention that i taught hilary helpful local/singlish phrases ystd! haha i'm not gonna attempt to make her speak lousy english like me(: i taught her:

seh = cool [HAHAH ZEST]

heeheee:D i'm a good teacher yes hilary!

ATTEMPTED to go out today! because hilary wanted to eat kfc. hahahahahah.

so we decided to meet at dhobyghaut [however you say it hilary!] i was the earliest! which is a HUGE surprise(: so i waited around and attempted to look for the kfc. because hilary was convinced that there was one in the station.

looked and looked. called maxine and attempted to look for her! but it turns out we were at diff entrances so i just wasted my time wandering around the station. then hilary calls us from her TAXI and after much much much confusion, we're told that it's the one in plaza sing. i was like ?!?!?!!!?!?!?!??!!!!

in the end we ate behlary's cheese fries and left. hahaha. and we ran trains! whooooo hahah got me out of my stoniness(: then we went for worship!

really good worship as usual(: yayyyyy i love worship!

then we had a message on eagles vs turkeys. are you the one that says "it cant be done!" or says "how can it be done?" trust in your limitations or trust in God's power? hahah pastor adrian was funnyyy. and i agree with maxine, his messages are getting better!

then we had worship again, and altar call. which was in relation to the exodus thing ystd! abt surrendering yourself FULLY to God(: knelt at the altar again and just really gave my all. let Him fill me. i really hope it changes my life and that it's not some weekend high thing(:

it's 1 now and i just helped mummy do a powerpoint for tmr's kool club(: now i am chao sleepyyyyyy...

there's a rusty russell session tmr. that i am really torn abt. on one hand, i want to go and see what God has in store for me, i mean it's a good opportunity. but on the other, i'm really scared i end up trusting rusty russell more than the Bible. cos i've nv heard him speak before. and i'm scared i'll fail the test of faith. so....

i guess i'll go lah. i mean, running away from the test is no better than failing right?(:

hahah today school was pretty fun(: i'm enjoying the post eoy thing so far. went to school early in the morning to paint the netball carn banner! it is PRETTYYYYYY(: yirong's blog has a picture!

and then we got geog. i didnt do... TOO badly. but i wish i studied harder lahhh. ohwell, thank God in ALL circumstances. yesyesyes.

and hilary, the MIRACLE WORKER, managed to straighten grace's ULTRA FRIZZY hair! a task thought to be UNPOSSIBLE [HAHAH](:

then we ate dinner, played abit with biscuit, her very large dog. and then had to go home.

but today was seriously so fun! and spastic! and torture to my butt. haahahahhah.

WOOOO these few days have been really FUN!

let'st start with saturday, since i was too lazy to blog then(:

grace hilary maxine and i went to vivo to watch mr woodcock! i was late, as usual. but i was reeally late cos 1) mummy didnt wanna fetch me to the station. and 2) i took the train in the wrong direction.

stupid lah! like it took me 20 more min to get back to vivo. hahah and i made it in time to gobble down maxine's leftover pasta in 1 min flat! even faster than maxine finishing 1 scoop of icecream :/

then we went to watch in a cinema full of teenagers. and there was this bunch of guys sitting in front of us. pretty entertaining yet annoying. hahahah making super lame comments throughout the show.

and ohmybeh maxine was sooooo embarassing can! like woodcock came out in wrestling clothes right, so everyone was laughing cos it was a funny sight. then when all the laughter died down alrd, maxine suddenly blurted out:

WAH HIS KKJ VERY BIG!

wl like the 3 of us cracked up lah! sooooo funny yet soooo embarassing! i think everyone in the cinema felt like laughing too(: and the movie was superduper lame also! and kinda gross, but still really funny(:

then after that we shopped abit and went to youth:D

worship was AWESOME as usual(: really could feel God's presence, and even an immediate answered prayer! i was just so encouraged by that(: i even jumped during one of the songs cos i was so happy!(:

then we had class abt last week's message. was quite interesting, cos we were all quite high [especially ME!] due to the end of eoys!

then at the end i asked a few questions also. one of which concerning rustyrussell loor. then once i mentioned that, nana immediately started flipping the Bible. hahah she's very "on" when it comes to this kinda thing(:

but her answers [and minxian's on my other questions] really helped alot! it's like throughout the whole eoy period i was thinking abt it. and i really couldnt come to an answer. and i was kinda distracted and troubled during that period :O

1 lesson learnt: whenever you're in doubt abt smth or you're just plain confused [like i was], always go back to the word of God! most things you just cant solve with your own strength(:

after that we planned our sentosa outing! like right in front of minxian and nana(: and they were saying how funny we were(: why of course! cos maxine was being stupid again and we were all teasing her and being lame!

then went for a very filling dinner. and erjie's car got stuck in the carpark. hahaha then came home to slack and eventually fell asleep :/

we decided not to eat there so we went to sakae sushi and maxine attempted to sneak her gross bubble tea in! hahah we talked abt antm and greys and a WHOLE lot of lame stuff(: entertaining, much(:


then we went SHOPPING! hahah mostly window shopping(: BUT! we did go to new urban male! woo that was suuuuuuuuper funny(:


grace and maxine wanted to buy havainas, so i was just their 'consultant' hah plsss, i would never spend 40bucks on slippers. so anw! they spent like 15 min just looking at the slippers without even putting it on their feet. hahah so lame.

hahahahah cos everytime slippers dropped on the floor, maxine would shriek and go "oh it dropped!" in some bimbo tone(: grace has successfully mastered that impression of maxine(:


grace told us that num only hires "hot guys" hahahah actually quite true(: grace decided to buy like the 3rd pair she put on. cant say the same for maxine. hahahah it took sooooooo long for her to narrow down to like 3. and took even longer to decide on a silver pair in the end(: pretty!

then we went shopping around. and found those gothic emo punk rock stuff for grace. but didnt buy lahh. heeren is ex :/ and maxine stupidly cut herself with her num paper bag. hahah



me and grace had to go after that. and maxine was gonna meet some other bimbo mg friends. so! we parted ways after getting CHEATED of our money at Orange Julius. wahhhhhh the service is like ?!?!?!? HORRIBLE ok. the ice cream melted all over grace's hand. mine not so much. and the stupid EX smoothie I BOUGHT FOR MAXINE gave her stomachache.

kneeling at the altar feels SO good i tell you(:

recommiting yourself. just taking that step of faith in Him, with Him.

yeah worship was good as usual(: and pastor adrian asked ppl to go to the altar and kneel. when he asked, my heart was beating like reallyreally fast. and i was like whoa..

chick was the first to go(: i admire her sureness, like she didnt even need to consider, to think. she just went up front and knelt. like it was such an obvious choice for her(:

i went too, taking the fast heart rate as a sign(:

and i cant even really rmb why pastor adrian did that altar call. but i rmb the song we were singing!(:

i dont have a particular liking for this song or whatever. actyally i dont really like it at all. but! today this song just seemed really appropriate(:

at the altar i just remember me asking God to make me more like Him. WWJD(: and to forgive me of all the hatred for people.

i mean the people i dont like didnt even offend me in any way. if Lord Jesus could forgive all the people who tortured and killed Him, why cant i love those who havent even done anything to me?

Lord Jesus had all the reasons to take revenge. those ppl tortured and mocked Him like crazy. but He didnt take revenge still. so why shld i fault others because of the minor things that irritate me?


yeah then we had message(: by the guy from riverlife church. yep it was abt trusting God. and having faith in Him(: suitable for the exam season.

forgot alot of it alrd, but! i rmb the part abt always talking to God first before talking to anyone else. like talking abt your problems or asking for help. always God before men.

and at the end of the message, we all went to the altar and he prayed for us. to only want to please God in EVERYTHING we do. yeah EVERYTHING. not to glorify our name, not to show off, not to make others look bad. but to please Him. for His glory and honour ALONE(:

makes sense huh? but easier said than done. so we really just have to make that effort to let God work in our lives!

how to blog abt this HISTORIC event that happened 13 years ago. hahah it's INDESCRIBABLE, probably since no one knew at that time that she would turn out to be such a famous heroine!

this post is basically, only a MINUTE part of our very own sailormoon. i really have no idea where to start.
