audrey just went home..she stayed for 2 days, quite fun. well, we actually planned for me, her and shiyin to just go christmas shopping, courtesy of audrey's mum's $100 (well kinda) but cos of all the transportation issues, audrey just decided to come stayover and we meet shiyin at j8 the next day. planned to watch flushed away (2nd time for me) but found out that there was sneak preview of open season, so we watched that. the show was ok lah..the porcupine very cute. so anw, we met xiangyin (shiyin's sis) there after the show and we went christmas shopping. we walked a while and:

-shiyin considered piercing her ears
-her mum refused to let
-went to kfc to eat
-tried to find a present for lauren
-shiyin and xiangyin decided to go home
-me and audrey continued to find present for lauren
-finally found one
-audrey finished buying presents for everyone on her list
-i only bought presents for some ppl but decided nvm
-called my mum to come fetch us
-mum decided to ask us to take train home

so we reached home and started to wrap some of our presents before going to bake gingerbread men( a trial run for the ones i'm gonna make for christmas) they didnt really brown, and didnt taste like ginger at all, just tasted like flour. so we tried and tried and added icing(which was wayy too sweet) and on a whole, you can say i'm not gonna be using that recipe for christmas.

so, we wrapped more presents in the night, watched some tv and spend the rest of the night/morning making lauren's card. oh, audrey convinced her mum to let her stay that night, otherwise only supposed to stay 1 night.

so, today didnt know what to do. wanted to go swimming but audrey thought she had to leave at 430 cos she had ballet but it was cancelled today so she stayed until after dinner. so ended up going to watch another movie , deck the halls. i liked the show, quite funny and so christmas-y. after the show, walked around some more and bought a few presents. still need presents for my family, huilin and a new gingerbread recipe.when we went home, i asked her to help me to make maxine's (belated) birthday present ( a customised tshirt) .we drew a little miss sunshine on the front, with the help of my 2 sisters. the back is still undecided.

well, basically that's the sleepover thing. of course there are some secrets that i cant put up here about *coughs so, going to class reunion tomorrow. it's kinda weird cos we havent graduated for even a month and their having a reunion already. but it's all good, might get some christmas presents hopefully? *hint hint

went to ballet yesterday feeling really tired cos i slept at 1 15am the day before. i think i'm suffering from insomnia or something lor, every night cannot sleep. anw, i was soo tired but my mum somehow convinced me to go to macritchie reservoir with the church chinese ministry thing. i went there and huilin was there so i was quite happy that at least i had someone to play with. spent our time there by playing uno and mostly taiti. huilin asked her parents and they allowed her to come to my house to stayover that day.

so we came home, bathed and everything and started playing mankala (this malay marble game thing) while listening to music. we played like ten thousand rounds until i decided to curl huilin's hair cos in my whole family, no one has long hair while huilin has very smooth long hair. for once she agreed to let me do so while she played crazy taxi and the rest of our com games. it took me like half an hour to finish but by then, the initial curls i did were all gone so i decided to do it again. my family decided that day that we would go to vivo city for our first time for family day since everyone was at home.

so we went at like 7+ and realised that it was so crowded. cos it was our first time, none of us knew where the food court was so we walked and walked and walked some more until we found some ppl who brought us there. inside the food court was absolutely packed. there were so many ppl walking and queuing and needless to say, we were unable to find seats. we decided to go to no signboard seafood restaurant which was next door and practically empty but my parents walked around more and tried to find seats. finally we just decided to go to the built-in chinese restaurant at the food court. it was quite nice and cos we were all so hungry, we finished all the food even though we thought at first we ordered too much. on top of that, our dinner didnt burst our budget. so we walked around, me and huilin went into the wading pool a bit then just went window shopping around lor.

so we went home and me and huilin played more mankala, painted our nails (mine painted pink of course =P) and asked my sis to help us do hair wraps. for those who dont know what that is, it's like our wrap friendship bracelets wrapped around a bit of hair. my sis does it reeeally nice cos she can add design and everything. so you would think that sounds like little to do in one night right? wrong. it took us soo long that we only slept at 2 am. 2 am!!

so woke up late this morning lor. got chased round by my mum, asking us to hurry up and basically, just the usual stuff. we went to church where i brought the money made from the friendship bands there and gave it to uncle chor san (person in charge of our children's ministry). he was pretty impressed and cos my mum told him we sold stuff something like me and huilin's hairwraps, he decided to ask us to come out to show everyone. and i was thinking, i dont even know how to do wrap friendship bracelets!! but anw, everyone kept coming up to me to ask me to do for them next week lor. i just kept saying my sister does nicer ones and told them she would do for them.

so of course we teased hilary and spiky haired shawn today( though he's not spiky haired anymore. apparently, he thinks hilary doesnt like that look, or so that's what i've heard) i got orders from maxine. she sent me an sms just before she left for perth saying, dont forget to tease hilary and spiky haired shawn! so all of us including the boys who are supposedly shawn's friends started saying, hmm shawn's surname is ng so..hilary and shawn ng. not bad lah! then i kept trying to borrow hilary's phone to take picture of shawn so it will look like she took it lah. but hilary smart lor, dont believe us when we said we wanted to play games. ok so maybe you dont have to be that smart.

anw, we were upstairs and really bored cos maxine and tiara werent there.huilin was playing with hilary's phone and hilary decided she was going down to play with her nephew. she instructed us (ok, me) not to leave the room, especially not with her phone. we were like, yeah yeah, whatever. so once she left obviously i left the room with her phone, on a mission to take shawn's picture. it was such an easy task. like once i was downstairs i spotted him. i thought i would surely be able to go back before hilary. wrong. she had come and gone down again to look for me, according to hannah. so, a very very pissed hilary came back and i had to pretend to not know anything. to make it easier, i started talking to hannah about school and stuff while being glared at by hilary.

so, she finally stopped being angry after a long time and after she left, i went to play with all the children, my sisters and leuven (youth,in case you forgot). we played freeze and melt, catching, and all those active games lah.

went for choir in the evening. we are supposed to have 2 male soloist, 1 for each service.aunty ruth chose but i think she chose wrong. she chose this guy michael who constantly goes flat and sings way too loud. i wrote an email to her just now about it. hope i didnt sound too rude..

woke up kinda late this morning cos of all the diet coke i drank yesterday evening. couldnt sleep so i started thinking about how i'll miss maxine when she's in perth for 2 weeks, starting from today. no more super long phone calls talking bout everything under the sun (my house phone is free for 2 years so we figured might as well waste their money =P). i know we sound a bit les but we are definitely not, it's just that we're really close. so i was already starting to miss her even though she wasnt even gone yet. i thought about it for a long time and somehow started thinking about what to buy my father for christmas. some years i dont give him anything, which is really mean cos he's the one that works and everything so he should deserve to get more right? it's just that it's so hard buying guys presents with not that high a budget. so i thought about it until i fell asleep.

soo, went for piano today. and am really bored now, having just come home from lesson. so little ppl online and no one talking to me. sooooo boring..i have explored all the sites i always got to, not much new things to do. my father says i should not just keep playing computer and watching tv, i should get a holiday project. normally i would object cos i loooove my tv but i'm so bored that i actually agree with him. just that i cant think of a holiday project. help me....

so, got our results back today..i'm not like super happy but i'm not complaining. not going to put my score up here cos that will just be like showing off (even though i dont have much to show off about) if you want my score you can ask lor but most ppl already know. i wish i could just round the score up cos it would sound soo much better. but hey, it's all in the past and at least i got my wish:i got a scholarship. i'm satisfied already.

so i went to the hall late, to hear mdm heng talking. and the shocking thing was that lee voon didnt top our school. i mean no offence to the mainstream but i really thought lee voon would have topped. guess she's not valedictorian anymore. nanyang standard is really dropping. even a neighbourhood school got higher then the highest in our school. last time it was always from nanyang lor.

well, so we went up to class and i was starting to get really jumpy. like what if i got low? so cai lao shi gave us all the help hotlines rubbish and all. probably to keep us in suspense or what. so we finally got our results back and for a minute, i didnt even know where to find my t scores. so everyone went round comparing and shiyin told me, let's go find lauren and audrey! so she went while i packed my bag. as i was about to go, audrey came running in with a huge grin on her face. i mean, of course lah! got so high, what's not to smile about? so she told me her score and i told her mine. then she said, come out leh! lauren's crying! so out i went to find lauren all red eyed with torrents of tears dripping down her face (quoted from her) and i started comforting lor. i thought she fail or what, actually only got 1 point less. then i was like, i only got 1 point more and you dont see me crying? i'm smiling! then she cheered up a bit lor.

after that, went round the level asking ppl's scores then cos actually me and audrey plan the 4 of us go j8 together on tues but her mum said since all of us did well, she treat us tomorrow go watch movie. so i went down, bumped into hannah on the way. then after going down the steps, bumped into aunty margaret. so i told her my score and she told me jeremy's.

found my mum and she decided to bring me go watch material girls. went there to find that no more already so we watched happy feet instead. it's ok lah, i expected it to be funnier though, since the ads were all so cute. but some parts are, just that some parts are quite serious lor. but the baby penguin soooooo cute!!

ok, before i end, i want to tell all the p6s to thank God no matter what your score is. and well done maxine! see, you're not as dumb as you think =P

yay!! we (mum, sis and me) just finished putting up our christmas tree! we started at like 1pm and now it's already 2 42pm. but it was fun. normally every year we put on little wooden christmas ornaments that we got from new zealand a long time ago. they are really cute and tiny. but this year we just decided to hang these red chains of beads all around with the red decorative balls. so it's all red and green.

below the tree, my mum put some porcelein chrstmas figures of snowmen and christmas trees that she just found and some dried flowers and acorns to make it look natural. i added some of the wooden ornaments at the bottom for good measure. so our tree is all fired up! (not literally of course =D)

for those of you who have come to my house before, you would know that we have a ginormous christmas tree (real one) outside that's 1 year older than me. i was telling my mum how ironic it is that we have a real nice christmas tree which we dont decorate. instead we put up a fake one inside and decorate it. so my mum found some old gold tinsel and we 3 went out side and started tying them to branches. it started raining though and it still is now. so we decided that we'll see how the few that we tied holds up then after the rain we'll go back out to continue.

i've been reading blogs and i realise how many people always express feelings on theirs while i just say what i've been up to. should i start getting all emotional on my blog? which one is better? i''m not quite sure. it's just that if let's say i'm sad and i start writing bout it here, wont it get others all depressed as well? no offence to those who are emo and all. hmm..i guess i'll just stick to this then, unless you guys feel otherwise.

i really dislike shopping (unless it's for me of course). i went to far east plaza with my mum and sis cos she need formal clothes for her presentation on thursday. so, that place is like quite big and my mum wanted to bring us to this shop where she once bought formal shirts for my dajie last time. but she couldnt remember where it was so we combed the whole place until we finally spotted it. my sis took a shirt to try then complained that it didnt fit. so we left.

we went downstairs cos there's a shop that sells neckermans (i love those!) my mum said she would buy me and my sis each a pair for christmas. we went there to try, when my sis met some of her friends. they told her they also went to that shop and asked her to go with them, they would help her find a shirt. so me and my mum stayed at the neckerman shop, me sitting there trying while my mum tries to haggle with the lady. after a while of unsucessful haggling, we find that they dont have the slipper in my size for that design (pinkish, of course) so we leave to find my sis. we go up and she's found one that she's happy with so we buy and go hunt for formal shoes on the ground floor.

that place has soooo many shoe shops, all brandless though. it kinda reminds me of malaysia, far east. before we went shoe hunting there, we walked across to isetan, tangs and all those and the only thing we come out carrying is a mcdonalds ice cream cone.. so we walk back to far east to shoe hunt but my sis isnt exactly the easiest customer to please. so i show her sooo many pairs but she still isnt happy. after a long time, we decide to just go since we're going out for my parents' anniversary dinner. now, the problem is that we cant find the car. we walk all around the basement but everything looks the same after you've been staring at it for hours (ok, so maybe i'm exaggurating) so we just take some random staircase and find ourselves outside at the carpark entry. left with no choice, we decide to just use the same path as the cars. let me tell you, it is a loong walk.

finally, we reach the car, with the help of the car finder thing. we head to fetch my second sis and my dad and go to chinatown for dinner at this shark fin restaurant. after a long search, we find it and go in. it's this place with lots of herbal teas and stuff, very china. the people there very cute, the way they talk to me very funny. so our shark fins come, very nice. got a lot of liao. so we go through everything (abalone, vegetable, rice, roasted meat, gui ling gao and egg tart) it's a very nice and filling (not to mention expensive i think). we're about to leave when my mum starts complaining that the guy cheated her (which he did) and tells him we are never coming back again. so on the way home is funny, with me and my sisters talking about funny cdan camp moments.

i miss camp, it's the last time i'll be there as a camper. next year when i go, i'll be an assistant or smth..

apart from bathing in the dirty toilets, getting a gazillion mosquito bites and my group not winning, the cdans camp was totally awesome!!

it started out like a normal camp, you know..briefing, cheering, meeting your group. hannah(hia), huilin and joeline (lim, from our school) were in the same group. it was super fun cos they are soo funny. our group was great. there were a lot of kids from teban. there was this kid jeremy, who's been in my church for a few years but never really knew him. he is like really short, only up to my nose there and he's p5. at first we all didnt believe cos jo is also p5 and she's so much taller. we keep saying he's p4 then he, "noooooo!!i am p5!!!" so in the end, we just keep callin him p2. anw, so we painted our team flag and had a competition (which our team won..yay us!)then we had to come up with cheers and for some reason, everyone turned to me. so i told them all the cheers i knew, like the fly kite later kana lightning strike one, the knock you flat like a ham chin pang and all the funny ones, then all the teachers all say cannot. so since our team was peace, i started saying, 'peace shall seize!' and 'we have peace like geese!' then the teachers like, stop playing around. sigh.. so in the end, we just did, 'peace will peace will rock you' then jo and i say everyone must scream very high so it's loud. at first no one want to do, i think cos we all just met and everything. but after a while, they all got into it, even though we didnt win the cheer competition. we had obstacle course and adventure thing and telematch (the other teams all cheated. we should have won i tell you). my group got a lot of small kids, all very cute. so we did all that stuff on the first day.

then, it was time to pitch tents. me, jo, hannah and huilin were supposed share a tent. so we pitched it up, did it wrong, tore it down, pitched it up again. we took so long by the time we were supposed to bathe, there were quite a few girls queuing in the toilet. they took sooooooo long..we almost missed dinner. maxine and hilary stayed in the air-con chalet.well, anw we had a campfire after dinner. it was..ok. was in the middle of the jungle though, with a zillion mosquitoes.

the most fun part was in the night, when we decided to give our tent to the boys and go sleep in the aircon chalet with maxine and hilary. it was super cold..verrrrrry shiok. we tried to play murderer in the dark but ended up making prank calls. i had a massive headache and almost puked but after scolding someone, i felt sooooooo much better. so after a while, hannah and pearlyn(youth) while hilary and kaixin(church friend) tried to sleep but failed cos lueven(youth) came in with poker cards and 5 of us started playing asshole taiti. it was sooo fun. then jo lost her phone so we tried to trace it down by walking all over the cabin. it was a funny sight. ok, there's this boy called shaun aka spiky hair shaun cos there are a lot of shauns in our church. and he likes hilary (that's what we think) so we kept making fun of him. we went out at like 12 in the night just to do that. even though he's only p5, we all think they make a good couple and hilary was soo mad at us. there's this guy jonathan, who's our age and i keep saying how his sweaty fats appeal to maxine even though she denies it. the only real romance though is spiky hair shaun and hilary.hehe..well, we slept really late that night cos they all didnt want to shut up so i went into scolding mode and started to threaten to off the aircon.

the next day was captain's ball, ultimate frisbee and charades. i think that was probably why we lost. but at least we didnt cheat. so anw, we did that, had some free time, which we used to play murderer in the light. then we made photo frames (which i won a prize for)and played some funny game where my whole team was making fun of jonathan cos of his actions. it was hilarious.
so that was basically it. of course we teased spiky hair shaun some more before leaving. and we also called jonathan a suckling pig when he put the whole apple in his mouth. from there, i went straight to choir practice.

wow, this is really long. hope i didnt bore you guys. if i did, sorry. hope i wasnt too loso. gonna go watch so you think you can dance. =)

so, i just came back from piano lesson..and err..well, i havent really done anything today other than watch tv, play com and practice a bit of piano.wow, i guess we never notice but life without school is really uneventful huh? like no friends to hang with, no teachers to pester and no more writing plays/songs or making friendship bracelets. oh yes, speaking of which, i never did tell how much we earned in total. drumroll please... our grand total is $113.75. dont ask me where the 5 cents came from. since life is uneventful, i guess i dont really have much to blog about..

oh, i'm going for the cdans camp tomorrow, which is a camp organised by my church for the childrens' programme. it's quite fun, i've been there once and since this will be my last year, i hope it will be even better. we'll have campfire and obstacle course and all. well, i guess that's pretty much it. oh, since ness ORDERED me to put up the other pics, i'll do so below then..err i mean above. some weird format thing that i'm too lazy to change.

sigh..posting all these pics took a long time and i almost missed project runway..anw, hope you all like them and if anyone wants them, just tag and tell me. i can send them. i also have pics of laura, janne and ness if you all want. there were too many pics so i coundn't post it. sorry..




so, we all graduated today. the ceremony was..better than i expected. it wasnt very boring, except for when they had to repeat all the speeches in chinese and when we had to sing the graduation song. i sat in between shiyin and dee and..well, i think you can imagine how things went. i kept laughing lor. and they were trying to compete to see who could squeeze tears out first. it was quite funny, i can imagine what life is gonna be like if we 3 get in the same class next year. those 2 are hilarious when put together. the only bad thing was that i sat in front of richmond and the guys and they talked nonstop. and when mrs may yeo ask people to scream..WOW. super loud man. actually, i always say i'll be happy to leave nanyang since we've been there so long and all, and i was but i was kinda sad when all the teachers sang that song. i really was. so it was like mdm heng said, i had mixed feelings but let's get 1 thing straight: i did NOT cry. i was a bit sad but, no tears ok?

the fun part really came after the ceremony when we all went to take pictures. too bad lauren left right after but i took one of her and audrey. me and audrey went around taking pics with all the teachers. we had to rush a bit though, her mum had to go buy insurance before they leave for china tomorrow. remember to buy me presents, yes? well, i'm too lazy to name all the teachers and friends we took photos with so i shall just try to post the pics below. on second thought, i'll post them in a seperate entry since there are a lot of pics. i'm still trying to figure the whole picture thing out.

went for ballet bright and early this morning. as usual the class dragged for about half an hour. normally i wouldnt mind but cos today i was going to a wedding, i was super anxious. my mum planned to leave at like 10am. my ballet class was supposed to be from 830 to 930 but it dragged long so i had to rush like mad. changing there, coming home to shower cos i was kinda stinky from the sweat, then choosing an outfit and all that at the speed of wind..haha, kinda anw.

so we left about 10 min late and as if that wasnt bad enough, we got stuck in a massive jam. by the time we reached, tried to find a parking space but failed, went to another carpark and circled for quite a while, walked from there to the church, the couple was about to take their vows already. so sad we missed the beginning but hey, better late then never, right? so we went for the reception (the food was really good) and basically stood around with my sis and our friend observing people and their outfits. i ate till i was really stuffed. before we left, me and my sis stole some of the flowers (roses)from the arrangement. we figured that they would throw it away anw so..might as well not waste it.

after we left, we went to plaza sing (opposite the westley church) cos my sis needed formal clothes and shoes for her project presentation. we walked all around and only had some results at charles and keith, where she found somthing she liked. by then i was already half asleep cos of the sleeping late, waking up early and dancing, and not forgetting the rushing. my mum was meeting up with her old classmates and teachers at some old antique shop for tea. the place is really cool cos they sell antiques and you can also have meals there, using their antique furniture. the people there are also really friendly and the whole atmosphere is so cosy. only bad thing is that the drinks and food there are quite ex. so me and my 2 sisters ordered 1 drink and we all shared. it was really nice, blue milk with homemade vanilla ice-cream and chocolate syrup at the bottom. the blue milk sounds kinda weird but it taste like normal milk except sweeter from the ice-cream. yumm...

totally crashed out in the car..from the tiredness and all. they are having bible study downstairs now. i might go watch some tv now, and probably fall asleep. toodles!

$55.55 that is how much we have made from selling our friendship bands..do we rock or what? ok, dont answer that. the GE girls are sooo awesome. thanks for helping out so much girls..i am sure my church will really appreciate it. i never knew raising money was so tough..like i was dead beat after school. we sold a lot today and we also managed to sell to the teachers.. most were quite generous and let us keep the change, like mr lim, miss yeo, cai lao shi. someone remind me to collect money from zheng lao shi..she said she would go and get her money but she never came back... haha, that sounds like she died or smth. today was totally hectic, i had to record orders, help find customers, promote to teachers and explain why we're doing this (cai lao shi was a difficult one..kept asking where's east timor, then some more want me to explain in chinese, but at least she bought in the end and also helped us sell a few), make sure that all the orders are being done by someone and also make friendship bands, of course. i guess since i came up with the idea and audrey, shiyin and dee are doing all the wraps, it's only fair that i do more of the other work but still.. i was like going crazy (like cuckoo crazy) cos i started singing weird songs while making like dee's theme song (to the toilet), bob the builder and singing to dee whistling christmas songs. sigh..

today also had to move tables to the old school building..quite tiring but i didnt move much so i'm ok.. had graduation rehearsal also..really boring, didnt even have much rehearsal so still dont know what to do but who cares anw? i was making friendship bands during the rehearsal until miss mok came and stopped me.

i said i wasnt really gonna miss school since most of us are going to the same school but knowing that there are only 2 days left of school is kinda sad..like loads of ppl still havent written in my autograph book and what if i never see them again? (for those going nygh) i guess we should just make use of all the time we have left and just rock out, yeah?

dont really feel like blogging today.. so i'll make it short. today was the day our class came in last for debate..sad. but those guys did their best so.. *claps good job..dont be discouraged. you all deserved to win..i think.

today quite fun.. we made a lot of $$ for our 'business'. cant really call it that cos we're not keeping any of the money..we're donating to poor people in east timor when my church goes for mission trip in december. well anw, today we sold sooo many and earned quite a bit. cheryl and laura helped us promote..so nice. like kon kit just donated $2 without even taking any bands..he's nice. then yj ordered 5 from me..he gave christabel one so they have matching ones. aww..so sweet right? and the christmas editions are seriously cute..it is sooo festive and happy. anyone want to buy?

we were like doing during the debate, which the p5s came to watch. if i were the debater, i would be soo nervous but they somehow managed to stay calm. it wasnt bad..our class content not bad, just need to work on presentation. i still think we deserved to win, N's argument quite weak..got a lot of problems, like kylie contradicting herself while answering the questions.

seriously, if anyone wants friendship bands, keychains or whatever, come to me or my business partners and we can work out a deal..we are open for bargains (though you wont get very far..haha) it is all for a good cause and like shiyin said, you all are good people and from the bottom of our hearts, we do love you so we will sell our bands cheaper to you guys, just cos you all are such good friends =)

i've been playing stardoll all night..they are having a sale so some clothes are cheaper. if you want to join, come ask me. whatever you do, do NOT ask shiyin. i must have more $$ then her..

went to lauren's house today, with audrey and shiyin. the 4 of us been spending lots of time together recently. probably cos we'll be going to 2 diff schools..*sniffs i'll miss them. anw, we walked all the way home cos lauren felt like it..actually cos her mum would be late anw so we decided to walk lor. we had to cross the big drain and me and audrey were so scared of dropping in and dying..me, mostly. we did it though, fortunately surviving.. haha.

so we went home and were greeted by lauren's little bro, mark. he is soooo cute! has blondish brownish hair so he looks kinda ang moh, except that he has asian features lah. he really very cute, will repeat what you say one.. me and shiyin keep asking him to call audrey, sil (sister in law..we still make fun of her liking lauren's older bro, max..) she got kinda pissed..haha.

we showered cos we were sweaty from the walk home and smelled like mosquito repellent from sungei buloh. ate spaghetti for lunch..a bit sour for my taste but i'm not complaining. played a game of cluedo then got really bored so me and lauren decided to go paint her gate..not we vandalise or anything lah..her parents bought black paint so we went to paint while shiyin helped (or should i say forced) audrey to create a stardoll account so shiyin could get stardollars. painting was quite fun lah..i always never get to do cos at home, my father always dont really let me help painting the walls. after a while, audrey and shiyin came to help. shiyin got paint on her foot and after a while decided she didn't want to paint.probably cos she and audrey had to use the small paintbrushes while me and lauren used the big ones cos we came first. shiyin went up to play with audrey's little sis, beverly and played stardoll with her. the 3 of us continued painting. the neighbour, matthew, a pri 3 boy came over to help too. he's quite cute lah.. talks a bit like a girl though, no offence. so we painted for a long time until my mum came then i had to go lor. my mum had to go for a wake and would probably finish late at night..she say dont stay at lauren's house so late, not very nice mah. actually lauren say can one..her mum even made dinner for me and i missed a water fight. lauren called after i reached home, making plans for going to watch movie, 4 of us.

we went to sungei buloh today..quite cool. we saw 5 monitior lizards..1m away from one, which laura almost walked into until i 'saved' her, telling her to freeze. we saw another ginormous one..
which looked like it was sunbathing or modelling, according to shiyin, cos it wasn't moving at all. we also saw a ginormous caterpillar..so cute. it looked like a marshmallow..almost wanted to squish it. overall, it was an interesting trip lah..quite fun, except for the million mosquito bites i got..but not bad lah...

was out the whole day..first, my sis, my mum and my grandma all went to my uncle's house to visit my baby cousins..they are sooo cute! especially the twins, faith and grace. we went home after a few hours and fetched my grandma home. my sis wanted to get a bday present for her friend so we went to the pasar malam (not sure of the spelling) next to j8 because yesterday, we saw the guy who makes name keychains, like the one on my pencilbox. but when we went, he wasnt there so we went to buy earrings insted. 3 pairs for $5 so one pair for my sis's friend, one for my mum and one for me..i took such a long time deciding but settled for a pair of star shaped ones wrapped in cloth..it looks nicer than it sounds..can't find the camera or i would post a pic.

my mum decided not to go home yet, against my pleas and she and my sis went to buy football jerseys for my cousins for christmas. again, it took a long time. after that, we went to buy watchescos they were cheap. at first my mum wanted to buy 1 for my maid.then, she decided she would buy for all the other maids in my mum's side of the family. then she decided to buy for our previous maid, who works for my uncle and in short, she bought quite a lot of watches. me and my sis were like half asleep cos we were standing there for so long.

after that, we went to a shop that sells all the baking stuff. i'm planning to make gingerbread men for all my relatives for christmas so i went to buy a cookie cutter.it's very cute. my sis bought a christmas tree one, also very cute. we only came back around dinnertime.

i was supposed to go to dee's house but i didn't cos we were going to visit my cousins and anw, her house is quite far from mine. tomorrow have to go sungei buloh..it's not that bad lah, i went there 2 times. it's quite nice..i just hate mosquitoes and we all have to wear long pants so it's gonna be really hot. dee, you better come tomorrow and bring all your string. btw, me, dee and shiyin are selling friendship bracelets/keychains. bracelets are 50 cents and keychains are 40 cents. customised are 10 cents more ex. orders, anyone?

audrey and lauren just went home..they came to my house this afternoon. actually intended to go watch material girls cos shiyin told me it opened already.. we decided like after school..really rush. we made arrangements on the way down the stairs..audrey didnt even ask, just informed her dad.after that we decided maybe watch step up but ended up both movies sneak peek was 2 days ago and havent come out yet. so we stayed at j8 for a while then after that came to my house. we watched she's the man, yes again. seriously, i love that show. then played com the rest of the time while listening to hsm cd (audrey liked it cos it's the first time she heard, i think, so we listen for super long).

today had class party..really fun, much more than i expected. we layed out our food at 8= like that, only to find that we're allowed to eat only at 9. so we had to wait there while the aroma of shiyin's cheese sausages tempted us. between that period of time, we had a fire drill. sitting in the b-ball court was sooo hot..jean was saying maybe they choose especially hot days to do these thing just to torture us. anw, after that, we went back up and started the party. it was really boring at first cos only a few ppl were eating and all the boys were playing some weird cards.. we decided to play some music from sr's cd collection, even mrs o suggested that. then once we play, the dumb boys go and off cos they said it's lame. the song hadn't even really started, just a few bars of guitar then they off..they didn't even know what song it was. after that it got more fun cos we were allowed to cross classes. me and shiyin went to 6m to play cards and listen to music..except their class was having the same problem as us. this time instead of having to fight off seth or xinyang, i had to fight off strahan..yes, STRAHAN. he was so sweaty and i had to push his sweaty fats..gross, much. but it was ok, after a while the boys kinda gave in and stopped bothering us. we played taiti and bridge..quite fun. then after that, we had to clean the party up so shiyin and i went back to class to find that it was already cleaned up, so we didn't even need to do anything..hehe.

debate followed soon..pretty interesting. our class sr, yirong and bq all quite soft, even though their points not bad. then canxiang's voice quite clear but then the rebuttle points all not good. perfect combination. not. even though i totally supported my class, i have to admit 6m was very good. jd and edward's voice all so soft and speak so fast but cheryl and bernice were really good, especially cheryl. she had an ang moh mixed with british accent and dee and shiyin were likeso excited. they kept looking at each other and silently exclaiming, " she has a british accent!" complete with hand gestures.. i had to keep pushing them away and telling them to shut up. apparently, mrs boey-lim was laughing from behind. so, guess who won the debate? duh, 6m lor.. and by 47 points!! i thought 33 points was bad but..boy, this was sooo bad.

yay, tomorrow got holiday, make up for deepavali. can finally sleep in...

blogging quite late tonight.. just got back from choir practice. was really fun except my throat kinda hurt while singing..guess i shouldn't have eaten the mcdonalds and kfc this week. practice
was from 6 30 to 8 30 but we only got home at 9+ cos church is quite far from my house. my 2 sisters, my mum and i are in the choir. my dad was also supposed to be in but cos he was travelling and would miss a few weeks, they asked him not to join..not that he really minded, we were the ones who asked him. anw, i think they have enough guys..they sing really well. so we were deciding whether to buy dinner back, come home and fetch my dad before going out for dinner or my 2 sisters and i eating at home while my parents went out. due to some miscommunication, we all ended eating instant noodles at 9 30 while watching news..i would have hoped for something nicer but hey, i'm not complaining.

the bible study ppl ended up not using the com room but i didnt blog cos my good friend from church, huilin, came with her mum last night and we were playing. she's 2 years younger than me and i have known her my entire life, not exaggurating. she can be a bit whiny and act cute most times but she's a nice girl lah. we tried to watch she's the man but she kept complaining that it was boring *gasps.. for those who never watched it before, it is a super funny show, in my opinion and totally worth buying the dvd for. anw, we managed to convince her parents to let her stay over, since we were going to church together the next day. we stayed up painting our nails and playing com..we played until 1 30 cos huilin found an interest in crazy taxi, this playstation game which i have on com. totally woke up late this morning and got yelled at by my mum.

got class party tomorrow..yay! i'm baking brownies later and bringing tomorrow. luckily i slept in the afternoon or i would be dead tired..

zack died..*sniffs. i also dunno why.. just found him dead in the morning. i gave him bread cos my 2nd sis said all fishes eat bread and i didnt have fish food.. also put dried leaves in to do smth to the water..wasn't really paying attention when the qian hu guy was talking. now i have no more zackiekins..

had ballet this mornng after skipping 2 lessons. i was so scared that i wouldn't know the work and get scolded by ms mccully..she doesn't care if you didn't come and that's why you dont know your work..she says "that is your problem. you don't come to class regularly, that is not my fault" but she's still nice lah..she has a soft heart inside. she will scold but after that will still go through with us. as good as a teacher she is, she can sometimes go crazy..she taught us the character dance today and made us do it 5 times continuously! i know to all those ppl in higher grades, they will think it's nothing but it was sooo tiring. and quite fast also, the music. at least now i wont forget it and i get exercise..it's the only kind i do.

my dad came back from india this morning, he was there for a week. he bought some gigantic balloons that we might be able to use during christmas. it's supposed to be in a shape of a peanut but it's more like a melon.seriously, it is huge, like half my height. i didn't want to tie it because it would go to waste so my dad used a rubber band to tie it. it looks sort of like a leash..so i named it zackie2, in memory of zack. haha..yes, i'm just being lame.

am listening to shiyin's danity kane cd now..not bad so far. denise bought the bead set with string and all for our friendship bands. we have agreed that i will bring it to church to raise funds for mission trip..this way, at least we are helping people at the same time. shiyin faked sick today(at least, i think) and we went to qian hu fish farm. it was more interesting than i expected..had a tour around the farm, that was a bit boring and quite stinky. the fun part was when we went fishing, catching longkang fish..i helped denise catch. at first we had no luck, nothing at all when other people already got a lot then suddenly caught a lot..dunno why. today denise feeling rich..treat me to ice cream and stuff. we got free fish..tiger barb. i named mine zack (like from zack and cody) cause it was kinda fat..like zack. haha.. we went back to school and found that some of the small fishes got squashed..so sad, we had to throw them down the sink.

i wonder how maxine and tiara are at escape them park cause it rained just now, quite heavily. hopefully it didn't rain there or they all very poor thing..all the outdoor rides all wet. i just came back from piano lesson..really tired. might have to do with the fact that i've been sleeping past 12am for the past week. i might go take a nap now...

i watched 2 episodes of GA today!! my sister's friend finally burned the dvd for her..i still got 3 more episodes to go. watching GA makes you surprisingly tired..i fell asleep for about 2 hours after watching.

anw today was another fun day in school.. we wrote a musical(sort of) of an improvisation of romeo and juliet, starring sr, kevin and vanessa. the plot is that sr and kevin's families hate each other so sr and kevin have never met until one day, they get matchmade at a matchmaking center. their parents are angry and forbid them to go out with each other but they still go behind their parent's backs. vanessa likes kevin and so she is trying to win him back from sr, which is really his true love. she mixes a poison and labels it 'killsr' and kevin sees it at her house. he goes to stop sr from drinking the poison. frustrated that her plan fails, she takes a dagger to try and stab sr but kevin jumps in front and gets stabbed, dying. sr, sad that her love died, takes the knife and stabs herself. the end. i know it sounds sadistic but it's really a romantic story, written by shi yin. do you realise how WE (happy, shiyin?) always makes vanessa the bad guy? and btw, this story is TOTALLY fictional so please don't get angry. me and denise wrote 2 songs while shi yin was writing the play..one song is to the tune of memory, from the movie, cats and another is from denise's sister's barbie dvd musical thing. both are not bad.. all the girls said the one written by me and denise is really good and we were both going around the class singing to all the girls because we were so proud of it..haha.

tomorrow we're going qian hu fish farm..some other classes went today and came home with a lot of fishes. i was actually planning to skip tomorrow and go with maxine and tiara to escape..they have holiday to day and tomorrow for tiara's exam marking. so good, right? our school dont even have.. but i can't skip tomorrow and go to escape because i have piano in the afternoon so i might as well go to qian hu then.

just finished dinner after coming back from the doctor. had to go see bacause of the fungus on my toe(no, i don't have a mushroom growing on my foot if that's what you're thinking).turns out it's not a fungus..cant remember what the doc said. took super long, i went at 3+, only finish at like 5+. that doctor so loso. i finished my whole book while waiting..not say got a lot of ppl waiting..still take so long.

anw, today was reeally fun.. it's a long story lah but in short, today, sr (shiren) was really sick and said she was dying. for those who dunno her, she is reeally rich and nice so we asked her to leave her money for us while denise drew up a will. it was sooooooo funny. then we stuck a pen in sr's hand and moved it, forcing her to sign. after that, sr, laura and yirong had to go for debate practice while denise wrote a play about sr's death where vanessa kills her to get her $$. also very funny. it was a 3 person show: denise being the director and producer, shi yin being every role in the 'play' (you should hear her kevin imitation) and me being the sound effects person. we tried recording with jean's phone but the class was really noisy so we decided to go to the toilet and record. was clearer but got a lot of echo and jean said my thunder sounded like a toilet flushing, hmmph. halfway through, her phone ran out of memory space so we decided maybe tomorrow try again. so anw, denise wrote a funeral song for sr but we decided it didn't really sound much like a sad song so we (mainly shi yin but we helped)wrote another song to the tune of the phanthom of the opera. it goes:
