i really dontknow how to explain it, the way God just touched me today. it was just like so amazing. the best feeling in the world, no doubt abt it(:
maxine had ppt duty, and being the twitzxzx that she was, me and grace had to help her.hahah we were all as confused till suipoon informed us of the numbers and stuff. ahahahah. guess he's useful in some way!
then we had message by pastor adrian, abt faith. yeah and then more worship, meaning maxine had to go back and do again. me and grace tagged along, just in case she screwed up. hahah. but i just stood there and sang lah.
then altar call again. and this time i just felt Him like "pushing" me to go front. and so i just did it. with grace's ginormous ripples on my feet. hahah(:
yeah it was just like awesome worship at the altar. though i was near to the drums with euclid, i.e it was really loud. hahah(:
and then all the tears just came. like i have no explanation, but it was just so good knowing that God was just there for me. then i heard some offkey singing behind me [joking!] so i knew that maxine has come forward too(: and was really touched(:
then pastor came to pray for me. he held my hands, through my jacket cos i knew i had sweaty palms(: but yeah i was really crying and crying. and once he finished praying for me, and saw i was still crying uncontrollably, he was like, "nana come and hug her" hahah so cute(:
and then nana came to pray for me, while i was still crying. she was praying in half-tongues, half english. and it just seemed like all my problems were solved. and she prayed for the Holy Spirit to fill me. wow the feeling of happiness in me was like indescribable(:
and normally i'm not that close to nana, but at that time, it was just so comforting to have her hugging me, assuring me it would be ok.
and i told her my problems and she just prayed for me. and the line that just struck me was
Lord just help diane not to care what others think, and just to do everything for YOU.
yeah something like that. [and everything includes STUDYING]one of the songs we sang, beautiful saviour had one line in relation to that.
Name above every name
yeah i mean, we've sung that song like uncountable number of times, but today it just struck me. like not only is HIS name the HIGHEST, but it's above ALL OTHER NAMES. like EVERY OTHER NAME IN THIS WORLD. yeah, and i was just so _____[i've run out of emotions to describe. haha]
and then after nana finished praying, she sung abit. and then prayed for me again. and obviously i didnt understand tongues, but it made me cry even more. dont ask me why.
and i mean the feeling of being close to God, knowing he'll never leave you, knowing that we can always put our trust and faith in Him, it's just sososososo GOOD. a really nice feeling in your heart.
and like after nana prayed for me, she just fell to the floor. and at that moment, i just thanked God for putting her in my life. yeah lots of times i wondered if she was a good mentor, cos we werent very close to her. but today, i take back all the stuff i thought abt her as a mentor. cos she just really helped me to feel His presence(:
yeah lots of ppl got slain today, cedric and zestin too. and i just thank God for touching so many ppl, ofcourse including those who werent slain(:
and i wasnt slain, but hey i'm not complaining. though when nana was praying for me with one hand on my shoulder and one hand on my forehead, my legs were like trembling.
and i think it was the first time that i never ever wanted the worship to end. like i didnt feel xian or anything, and i just wanted to worship forever. it's like such a great feeling(:
after the service, everyone went back. and i was still crying. i still dontknow why. but nana hugged me and brought me to the toilet. maxine and grace came down to "comfort" me. and i was like, i'm ok.
but when i tried to cough [which is what i always do when there's awkward silence], i just started sobbing again.
after awhile i was ok lah(: i mean i wasnt crying cos i was sad. i was crying cos it was just such an awesome [almost]encounter with His presence(: and i was really happy later(:
i regret all the times i've doubted His existence, doubted His power, doubted Him working in my life. after today's experience,i wonder how i ever doubted when his existence in my life was like SO obvious. i really hope i nv doubt EVER again.
this experience is really smth i cant explain with human words. which would be the reason that this post sounds incoherent. but i just had to tell of God's goodness in some way(:
i totally dont regret going for today's altar call AT ALL.

woo went to coldrock today with maxine&nana! coldrock is like soooooo cool(: and sooooo EX. like 10bucks lah!
it was reallyreally awkward at first, but after awhile it was ok. one of nana's colleagues, this angmoh guy called keenan, is very cute! he ate nana's icecream after making it for her(:
ya then we had awkward conversation abt stuff in church. and then after reallyreally long, we decided to go somewhere quieter. so we went to coffeebean for awhile. and we basically just asked nana questions lah. and she gave us bible references and all.
but we had to leave early D: ya and went back to maxine's house for awhile to wait for my mum. oooh i played with tiara's waterbabies! hahaha it's superduper cool(: i squished alot of them, just cos it was so fun! [i sound like some toddler getting excited over toys D:]
then mummy came, and she and aunty jan started explaining that all these gifts werent so impt, most impt was the fruit of the spirit! and then we asked mummy to teach us the bridge illustration so by the time exams are over, we'll be all fired up to evangelise in class! WOO(:
yup, mummy made lots of sense lah. i mean, what's the point of seeking all these gifts if we dont have the fruit of the spirit in us! and most importantly, LOVE. for EVERYONE. whether we like them or not. even if they're annoying, even if they're selfish, even if they make you get all vulgar, LOVE.
AND OH YES! how could i have forgotten to blog abt shiren's salvation!
yeah, i know she hasnt made it all public and all. but! i just really had to say it!
it was reallyreallyreally cool, the way God worked and just opened my eyes(: like she accepted on monday. which was the day i told myself, "ok, you're gonna make a difference today and let God work through you." because i was greatly impacted last weekend.
then that morning, i came and was rushing hw and all. saw simone and shiren both sniffing. but i didnt have time to ask what happened until like, recess.
then simone told me, "i prayed for shiren and she accepted."
and i was just sosososososoSO happy that i was like shrieking and jumping around the balcony(: hahah. but i was really like ECSTATIC :D
and it was just so cool cos i was just gonna ask shiren. and like God just worked through simone right before my eyes! PTL(:

yeah, didnt get the jpsl thing):
i mean it didnt come as such a great shock or surprise to me lah. butbut, i just thought, like at the veryvery back of my mind, "hey, maybe i'll be pleasantly surprised(: maybe they liked something abt me..."
that kinda stuff. but ohwell! i guess it's just not God's plan for me(: yeah sometimes we just dont understand why certain things happen, but His ways are higher, so we never have to worry(: cos there's always hope, knowing He's looking out for us(:

yesterday's service was just AWESOME!
yeah it reallyreally was(:
jl led worship(: hahah he very cute. and like i know he's not the best singer and all, but like pastor adrian said, he really has a heart for Christ(:
and i could reallyreally feel God speaking through him, ministering not only to me, but maxine and lots of others too i think(:
you know abt the altar call thing. like the past 2 weeks there've been altar calls. and i was just too afraid to go up.
it wasnt that i was afraid of committing myself to God, it was just all those stupid non-impt factors. like being paiseh, or worrying what ppl would think of me [since i wasnt exactly like the comm ppl who always went up] or like not knowing when to go up, whether the song would end soon and i would look dumb. stupid stuff like that.
but yesterday. wow(: i just totally felt it in me to go up. like He was giving me a push(: telling me not to care what ppl thought. only His opinion mattered.
and i was just reallyreally comforted by that feeling. the stuff that jl said just made me cry. like tear up and all. and he was saying:
we're gonna sing this next song, Healer. and all those who want to just start again with God, can just come up front. drag your friends along with you if you need.
at that moment, i tapped maxine and she turned. and i saw her crying, just like me. i tell you i was supersuper touched by it. and we just went forward. no questions asked. hallelujah(:
up front we were crying even more, as the words of God speaking through jl, and the lyrics of the song, just touched our hearts. i tell you we were crying like babies. and we werent ashamed of it(:
aunty bell was praying with us for aunty priscilla and all 3 of us cried even more. after that we went back. and finally stopped crying. but i think i can say for the both of us, that feeling of comfort in our hearts, didnt go away(:
class was good too! nana led class, and me and maxine had agreed to answer the questions and be more responsive in class. and we went through the lesson as normal, then summed up the whole series. and then they asked if we had any questions.
we asked lots of questions, but the one that really affected me was the one abt tongues. nana and minxian were explaining to us what it was to be slain. cos nana had been slain before.
now that i think of it, God was answering my prayer(: i rmb in my last post i was still wondering what it was all abt. and nana and minxian just like read my mind(: before we even asked the questions.
yeah maxine told me what chick said, that desiring the gift is not enough. He gives us this gift out of love, and we shld use it out of love, and not to haolian to others.
hahah yesterday was just an awesome day in general(: haha and it was fun before youth too. i [attempted] to study with behlary.hahah and we ended up doing classwork. which was good(: then after youth i went to marcus' house. some mooncake thing. and i did some work. and mostly played with babies(:
now i got lots of work. yeah. and studying too. but for some reason [i.e. the peace of God :D], i feel relatively calm(: just pray that i dont get distracted. AGAIN(: but yes, i really gotta study.

ICCS WAS QUITE FUN! [AND GROSSSS D:]

ooh the busride was funny cos cj and yirong weresingingggggggg(: and me and shiren were being SPASSSS [as usual:D] like calling yihhui by certain different names and seeing which ones she answered to(: [such as xiaodebonggg, xiaode, NICOLE etc.] [oh she answered to all:D]
but it was really quite fun cos my grp was like ADDICTED to the sea. like the part with all the rubbish. sherry was like surfing! so funnyyy(:
me and jieru picked up like 60 cigarettes, which is very little compared to everyone else cos we got xian of it halfway and just let other grps pick. hehhh(:my grp didnt see TOO weird stuff. we saw cool things like an orange floating in the water(: and like a slipper.

went to the gb room after sch and saw quite a few seniors inside, with lots and lots of guitars. so i didnt really dare to go in and say,
" hey can someone help me with a pipe?"
that would be like WEIRD.
but after that i went back,there were only a few people left like yunxi, peiling, waiian, anne, rachelmiao, and esther.
this time, yihhui KINDLY didnt desert me again. any obvious guess why?(:

went to the gb room during lunch with rachel! and yihhui ALMOST went. almost. until she saw what she was desiring-to-see-but-didnt-dare-to-admit and walked away D:

then shihui helped me fix up the pipe while me and rachel asked her..erm.. QUESTIONS(: hahah regarding yihhui since she wasnt there! THAT'S WHAT YOU GET FOR DESERTING US HURHHHH.
and then i got the pipe [which is heavier than i expected. seriously):]

I SCREWED JPSL CAMP.
ohwell. i didnt expect much anw. and i didnt reallyreallyREALLY wanna be a jpsl. so i'm not TOO sad lah..
but just feel so wasted lorrr! cos i was surprisingly un-enthu due to my lack of sleep last night [thanksssss chem pt draft D:] so i was all stony and slackish. wasted lorrrrr.
if i knew i was gonna be like that, i would have totally gone for shirimmmmmm! no point wasting my time righttttttt. actually the main reason for why i was so stony was probably cos i knew i was missing shirim D:
like i kept staring at the clock and thinking, "they're probably trying the pipes now.."
wow i'm like super in LOVE with shirimmmm. i cant believe it lah! totally unexpected change from when i first joined and dreaded practices :D

stayed at max's house ystd, wooo was it fun(: just like our old stayovers with me maxine and tiara again(:

yep british takeaway rocksssssss(: woooooo. we found behlary and went to suntec starbucks to "study"! hahahah i wasnt supposed to study there cos my mum didnt let..
so behlary studied her german and maxine did her chinese while i did some church hw. but mostly stealing their drinks and listening to her ipod(:
super glutton can! drank like half of the java chip frap even though i didnt pay for it(: hhehhh. yessss, today i earned myself the title of LITTLE MISS FREELOADER(:

woooooo today was SUPER fun!
had youth, where the cool reverend barnabas mam came to speak. ohmy he is seriously very cuuuuuute! very funnyyyy. and comical(: but his message had impact(:
i'm just really sad that rachel and shiren didnt come. i was really hoping they would): ohwell, He has a perfect plan and maybe this just isnt part of it(:
then we had our teacher's day bbq. OHMYGOSH IT WAS SUPER FUNNYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY. you know why?
BECAUSE THE BEH TRIO CAME!!!!!!!!!!!! i seriously thought they would pangseh us lah!!! but they came after much pressure from pepsicola(:
chick sat in our car and we talked abt batam times, i.e. yoyo and his lame jokes(: and how eric almost sat next to maxine. and the lame games we were forced to play at dinner(:
then we went there and the bbq food was really not bad(: got cheese prawns. hahah chick and her "i'm halal" phase. plus her stealing my scallops. hhaha.
char and clara came in another car(: and the 3 of them had the pleasent experience of meeting onoff's family(: woooooo super funny. everytime he walk pass, maxine will gasp very loudly. then we all thought what happen lor.

wooo ystd was FUN(: hahah surprisingly(:
had aces day workout thing, which i enjoy quite alot(: yeah the songs are nice and the actions not that embarassing or anything(: not like in pri sch. worhxzxzx.
then the teacher's day concert! woooo it was really quite interesting! we were standing on the 2nd level again, but at least it wasnt at the roof part so the view wasnt bad(: though abit squeezy.
we were like being lame in the corridors(: no teachers anyway mah! when we weren't watching, we were playing with shiren's cam! and sherry was trying to poke me! and i was trying to take pictures of her! hahaha(:
simone's gym performance was like so COOOL! yeah seriously. our whole class screamed and cheered so loud for simone!
then the drama thing was like super FUNNY(: hahha.
the rest were all like dances. such as RACHEL's class' dance. WOOOO RACHEL LOOKED SUPER CUTE! she so tall, then stand in the front! hahahah(:
then there were SL dances also, again we cheered for all the SLs from our class [even though some book me):] hhahah.
in between, me and yihhui spotted seniors. again(: haahahah. yes sadly, yihhui couldnt find _ _ _ _ _ [hehh i dont even know why i bother blanking her name(:]
the final performance thing was just suuuper HILARIOUS lah! even if it was long(:
mrs tan came out and was like saying that she suspected some sec4 class wasnt there. so she was like doing a roll call. then she went, 417! which totally doesnt exist lah. and then the guy teachers dressed in uniform came running out.
OHMY I LAUGHED SO HARD DURING THE WHOLE THING! yeah it was super PUNny and all. plus! mrs loh can really dance! wooooo(: i have to wait for shiren to post the pics then i can show you!
then attempted to give teachers the cupcakes(: but i couldnt find some of them..but nvm! wooooo mrs ang ROCKSSSSSS(: saw ame while looking for the teachers! and squishy! and delia! and yikai! and shihui!

and then some little wushu boys started doing some cool breakdance move lookalike, and all the sec1 rg ppl started cherring, quite loudly(: WOOOOOOO. hahahh then like half of the hall turned back to stare at us(:

in the night, all my baby cousins came over to my other lester&marcus' house! wooo they're suuuper cute(: though abit annoying at times. we ended up watching hsm. ohman. i tell you, cant they have better shows on friday nights?! hahah my cousins enjoyed it though(:
yeah i was being all anti cos i was super tired, staying up till 140 the previous night. so i just slept in marcus' room while he used the comp.
ohwell, i came back and ended up sorting out my "treasure" box. yeah where i keep all my letters and photos and cards and stuff.
wahh, alot of stuff leh. letters from valentina [my p2 friend whom i still miss!], latters from jonjiejie [my first ever maid who took care of me for 8yrs], birthday cards, class photos, march camp programme and letters, batam letter and such.
wahhh it was like so many memories lah(: so in the end, i slept at 215. hahah sorry long post again(:
