i'm back from jb!! and i have lots to blog about, including the 3 days before i left for jb when huilin came to stayover.so, that was saturday. we had a long choir rehearsal and watched the drama for the first time. it was rather disappointing, cos they all had no expression when they talked. so our rehearsal lasted for 3 and a half hours. we went for lunch and huilin and then back to church cos my youth was starting at 4. at that time it was around 2. so me, huilin and my 2 sisters all stayed in church and played a bit, but just card games and stuff. after that, we had our first youth session. huilin stayed in the room and read her book while the youth had worship and message. we broke for class after that and had like an intro lesson. we just introduced ourselves and all that lah. so blahblahblah, we took bus and train home, i was sooo tired. then watched tv and played com then went to sleep.
next day, woke up and went to church. found that maxine and tiara were coming to our house after church cos their parents were going somewhere. anw, hilary was in china so it was THE perfect opportunity to make fun of spiky haired shawn cos hilary wouldnt be there to get mad. but so qiao, no hilary, no shawn. so sad.. hannah was supposed to be back from switzerland that day but she jet lagged so didnt come. we were quite bored cos there was no kool club and we were going to 2nd service so the whole morning we didnt really have anything to do. later we went for 2nd service and after that, grace decided to come to our house too. so the whole gang of us waited for my parents meeting to be over and all went back to our house. we warched some tv, played some com and played bingo too. then they all went home. that evening, me and huilin gave each other mani-pedicures, or so we tried to. played more com then slept.
next morning i went to cut hair. my mum woke me at 10am and called to hairdresser. she told us to come later so i went back to sleep for about an hour then woke up and left. when we were there, it was so crowded that we had to wait for about an hour or so until my mother got fed up and wanted to leave cos her china mentees had cooked lunch for her and she had agreed to come around 12 and it was around that time and we still hadnt got our haircuts. so the lady heard her and immediately asked her tosit. about 5 minutes later, she was cutting our hair. my hair looks about the same, just slightly shorter and not so out of shape.
so we went home and picked huilin and my dad and went to the china girls house. their food was very nice and we stayed there for quite long while they entertained my parents blahblahblah. then we went home and me and huilin baked the brownies her mum brought for us. while waiting for it to finish, we watched the HSM dvd she brought (obviously not my choice). then we changed and went out cos my parents have 5 tickets for A Night At The Museum preview. so my parents gave the tickets to me, my 2 sisters, huilin and her older bro, who was meeting us there. me, my 3rd sis and huilinwent there early and window shopped a bit. then we met my 2nd sis and huilin's bro at the theatre. he bought a whole load of snacks, namely: 2 cheesy hotdogs, 3 drinks, a big tub of popcorn and nachos and cheese. now that is what i call proper movie snacks. the movie was hi-la-ri-ous. absolutely hilarious. if you're looking for a movie to watch this december, this is a perfect one. so, we went christmas shopping for a bit and my parents came to fetch us. we had to send huilin and her bro home cos we were going to jb the next day. it was raining so heavily that from some angle, it looked like it was snowing. really cool.
so next day, woke up and packed and cos it was still raining, we had to delay our plans a bit so we left about an hour later. the ride there was..interesting. we were like playing around and then started trying to speak hokkien. it was very funny. the whole time it was raining so we didnt go straight to austin hills. instead, we went to pelangi mall and shopped there the whole day. it was ok lah. the most fun was playing with ariel (my baby niece) she was so cheerful and let me play with her and all that. so cute!! only thing i bought there was a pair of school shoes. so we were there so long and my uncle told us that we might not be able to go to austin hills cos it was still raining and flooded. so we were quite sad, and all of us all started praying. you should hear my cousin lester trying to sound like a pastor praying, very funny. we ate at this cool jap restaurant and had loads of fun, even though it cost a lot and the food was quite slow. i guess it's the company that counts. so we were praying and praying that the flood would subside. but it didnt. so we all tried to convince our dads to try to drive to the flood or even go to another hotel. but it was all unsucessful, so in the end, we all ended up staying at my cousins house. we watched little man but cos i was so tired, i fell asleep halfway. next day woke up and played with ariel. she sooo cute!! then played some com before walking back to my house to wash up. turns out the flood was 1 in a 100 years then happen. we so dao mei, on the day supposed to go to austin hills and stay then flood. sigh.. anw, we left around 12 for jb again. this time it was bright and sunny. so we drived to another huge mall, which was smth like vivocity cos it was new and big. but lucky us, when we got there, it was closed due to a power failure. -__- so we went to jusco, this huge departmental store which had electricity cos it had it's own power generator and shopped there. after a while, the power came back on but for some reason, the aircon was still super hot. soo stuffy. so we shopped there the whole day and played lots of arcade thanks to my cousins marcus and lester. on the way back, my mum and sis started fighting and fought almost all the way back.. sigh...today was supposed to go school but i was too tired so my mum just went. sorry sr, i know i'm supposed to return your book. i'll find a way, k?i know this post is like super long, so sorry. gonna go help my mum wrap christmas presents!4 days to christmas!! hohoho...
